Hey Guys!!
So excited for this week of One Room Challenge! I think I am finally wrapping by brain around what I want this “Old House Great Room” to feel like and I’m pumped to share with you! Thank you, Linda, for having us…it’s exactly what we need to force us to work on our own house, when we mostly just work on others, haha!
So, I mentioned last week that my kitchen and living room aren’t horrible, but they are just boring and without personality. I’m ready for color and commitment to that color. White has been awesome and versatile, but I’m definitely ready to embrace something new!
Here’s some of my inspo:
Love the subtlety here and the paneling is AMAZING. I should probably consider paneling the whole living room side…..
I’m not exactly sure if it’s the light or the paint color or what, but this room makes me feel something…and that is really fun for me. Currently searching for the perfect chandeliers and pendants!
Part of me really wants a neutral so I can easily decorate for the holidays…
…but I just did a charcoal kitchen for our show and I. Literally. Could. Die. I love it so much.
Can’t go wrong with blue! I absolutely love this room, as I’m sure we all do, but I really want to try to do something unique with our space!
I have had this image pinned FOREVER. Maybe that’s a sign that it should be army green everywhere?!
This week I’m putting together my products that I’ll be ordering. I want to say a very special thanks to the sponsors this round for being awesome and so great to work with! By this time next week, I should have picked a paint color….commitment…..and sourced everything I need!
Make sure you check out the other amazing designers for this round…they are going to KILL IT this season!
